Turnero keeps every logged-in user in sync without requiring manual page refreshes. When an appointment is created, updated, deleted, or when a patient checks in, the appointment table updates live for all relevant users — no action needed on your part.

How Updates Are Delivered

Changes made by any user are pushed to all relevant open sessions the moment they are saved. You never need to reload the page to see the current state of the schedule:
  • Front-desk staff (Ingreso) see the table refresh automatically whenever an appointment is edited, a patient is marked as arrived, or an appointment is deleted.
  • Doctors (Medico) receive an on-screen alert when a new appointment is scheduled for them, showing the doctor name, a short message, and the appointment date.
  • No browser refresh is needed at any point during the day.

Events That Trigger a Live Update

Every action that modifies the appointment table pushes an update to the appropriate users. The table below shows exactly who is notified for each event:
When a new appointment is saved, the assigned doctor receives an immediate on-screen notification containing the doctor’s name, a short confirmation message, and the appointment date. Front-desk (Ingreso) staff are not separately notified for new bookings — the table reflects new appointments the next time it loads or refreshes.
When an Ingreso user edits an existing appointment and saves the changes, all Ingreso users receive a live table refresh. The updated row appears in their view instantly, without any page reload.
When a doctor marks a patient as arrived (the Accessed action), all Ingreso users receive a live table refresh. The arrived status updates across every front-desk session simultaneously.
When an appointment is deleted, every connected user — both Ingreso and Medico roles — receives a live table refresh. The row disappears from the table for everyone in real time.

What You See

When a live update affects your session, Turnero refreshes the interface without interrupting your workflow:
  • The appointment table row is added, updated, or removed without any page reload.
  • Doctors see an on-screen notification when a new appointment is booked for them, showing the doctor name, a short message, and the appointment date.
  • Front-desk staff see the table update silently whenever a colleague edits an appointment, marks a patient as arrived, or deletes a booking.
Live updates require a stable internet connection. If your connection drops, reload the page to re-sync the appointment table to its current state.
During busy clinic days, the live table means front-desk staff never need to ask doctors “has the patient arrived?” — the arrived status appears in the table the moment the doctor confirms it.
